Let's start with the material: on the outside, "Gauntlet" is made of durable cowhide so it can be your faithful companion through many hours of training. As for the inner values, we didn't want to compromise either, so the "Gauntlet" got a padding that is built up in three layers of different materials (as opposed to one layer that you find in many other gloves). Each layer has different cushioning properties - from fluffy to tough - and together they provide really good shock absorption (your knuckles and wrists will thank us).
We've used the experience of our own training to create a compact glove that fits snugly around the hand. That's why it's also highly recommended for those who want to use a boxing glove on the sandbag.
And last but not least, there's a clever detail: as you're probably not the only one in the club using Nippon equipment, the "Gauntlet" has a "NAME TAG AREA" where you can write your name and mark your ownership. That way, after the drink break, you can easily find your gloves in the pile - without having to write all over the glove (we think that's a bit of a shame).
